The health and safety of our staff, clients, and community remain of the utmost importance to us. We are following all the guidelines and protocols being provided by the state. In conjunction with those guidelines, we have gone above and beyond to ensure both your and our safety. We are looking forward to seeing you in the salon at your next visit with us.

Covid-19 Salon Policies

  • If you are not feeling well, call and reschedule (normal cancellation policy applies)
  • We will not be accepting cash payments as payment for service until further notice
  • Gratuity/tip will be accepted in form of cash or Venmo, as we do not add gratuity on card
  • Please wear a face covering with ear loops
  • Come to your appointment alone (No children, friends, partners, or pets. There is no waiting area for guests)
  • Arrive on time
  • Curbside check in. Call upon arriving and we will further instruct you
  • Sanitize your hands upon entering
  • We have an updated menu
  • We will no longer be offering beard trims, complimentary bang trims/clean ups, or in salon consultations

Sanitation Guidelines

  • Maintain social distance between clients in salon chairs and shampoo area
  • Curbside check in, please call when you arrive for your scheduled appointment
  • Virus-killing air purifiers
  • We will not be offering beverages (clients are asked not to eat/drink inside the salon, as we are all required to wear masks for our safety)
  • Clients must wear face masks properly for the duration of their visits (covering nose and mouth with no gaps)
  • We will be adding extra time before and after services for heightened sanitation of tools, stations, chairs, etc.
  • Our staff is required to be tested for covid-19 biweekly
  • We use hospital grade disinfectant, cleaning spray, and soap
  • We conduct temperature checks with staff and clients upon arrival
  • Daily and midday cleanings of the salon

Staff procedures

  • Multi-layered masks are required for all staff
  • All staff will be temperature checked with a touchless thermometer upon arrival to salon
  • All staff is barbicide certified
  • Our front desk team will be checking clients out at stations, in order to minimize contact between clients
  • Mandatory biweekly staff COVID testing

Menu changes

Due to the new regulations set in place for our safety and our reopening being limited at a specific capacity, our menu has changed. We will no longer be able to accommodate complimentary clean ups, complimentary bang trims, beard trims, or in salon consultations until further notice.

However, we will be offering virtual/email consults. You can email info@shampoojc.com to request your consultation.

To maintain a sanitary safe environment, we have added an extra 15 minutes before and after your appointment for your stylist to thoroughly clean their station, tools, chair, etc. We have also introduced the use of PPE and plexiglass partitions between stations to our practices.

We will have a small price increase to some of our services. We will not have an additional cost for all PPE, as it is already factored into the new service menu prices.
